Re:cron and special char [SOLVED]

Hello All,

I myself have had the following problem for months. Have a test site (Joomla 5.1.1) here I have jDownloads Version 4.0.42 Stable on it and this works. Via FTP I have created a main folder with subfolders and files and through the control panel jDownloads want to use the "Check Download Area" option. This is started, but the popup screen remains black and nothing is displayed.

PHP Version 8.2.18
Database Version 10.6.11-MariaDB-cll-lve

What could be the cause of this? And how can I fix it?

Any info is more than welcome.

Have had this problem before in the past, possibly a setting is not configured properly?

Addendum Solved by turning PHP setting  zlib_output compression to OFF   - Colin

Hi
First have you ceated a jDownloads menu item 'List All Categories'?
Also in the jD Options - Path Settings is is the upload path directory correct?
