Has anyone actually managed to recover lost iPhone data after a crash?

Hey everyone, I'm hoping someone here might have some advice or personal experience with iPhone data recovery. My phone completely crashed a few days ago, and when I turned it back on, a bunch of my photos, notes, and messages were just gone. I've tried restoring from iCloud, but it only brought back part of what I lost. I didn't have a recent iTunes backup either, so I'm kind of stuck.

I came across this site that talks about iPhone data recovery and different ways to get files back, but I'm not sure what actually works or if it's worth trying one of those recovery tools. Has anyone here gone through something similar and successfully restored their data? Any tips or software recommendations would be amazing.

I'm mostly trying to get back photos and some notes that mean a lot to me, so any insight helps. Thanks in advance!
