How to open a link of module Latest Downloads in a New Window.

Hi everyone,

I'd like to ask about something that I'm sure is easy to modify: in the "Latest Downloads" module of jDownloads, I'd like it so that when I click on one of the downloads in the list, it opens in a new window (target="_blank"). If you'd like, please tell me how I can do it myself and I'll try.

Try this file. Copy it to /modules/mod_jdownloads_latest/tmpl/
and overwrite the old one.

But it is not changed after an update. So you should use an templates overwrite.

In the loger term I would suggest that this becomes a standard option in the Modules.
So please add to the 'futures' list

The Latest module is failing again; it's not opening the download in a new browser tab.

I've tried installing the latest version of JDownloads again, but it still doesn't work.

I've also tried replacing the "default.php" file you sent me in the folder: /modules/mod_jdownloads_latest/tmpl/, but it still fails. It opens the download in the same window, and the worst part is that once the download opens, when I go back in the browser, the user has to log in again. 

Please any solution?

And which version were you using before, when my customisation was working?

I'm using the latest version you recently added.

Yes when you customize work good, but when updated to last version, open links in _blank don't work.
