Similar to this issue (https://www.jdownloads.com/forum/index.php?topic=13772.msg48890#msg48890) I cannot create any further downloads. I just updated to Joomla 4 from 3.12 and PHP 8.1 and I'm testing out JDownloads 4.0.20. Standard templates all around. If I try to create a file via the backend, JDownloads complains about one of any fields I left blank not having a default value. IE, if I try to create a file that has an external download, it complains that I left the download url blank. Fill that out and another optional field is complained about (preview file). If I try to submit via the frontend I get an error regarding a bad file date in a database row. I'm unclear as to whether or not this is a bug or a problem with my specific installation.

I would like to additionally add that a non-registered public user cannot view any of the existing files despite the fact that all my categories and downloads are set to public access. Perhaps this points towards a particular issue.

Hi,
I could your problem not reproduce.  ::) ::)
Could I get access to your backend? In this case send me the data via PM.

I will. Do note that I'm sure there's some other issues since the migration hit the site pretty hard as per usual.

Sorry, but the data are only for frontend.

Sorry, but without your help it is not possible for me to check this in detail.
But it can be that your hoster use strict SQL settings.
I have tried to prevent in the next version 4.0.21 this messages.
So please update and try it again when this version is published.
