Change Header and Footer on all layouts

Hi,

i see i can change Header and Footer layouts for all templates but not Subcategories.
Is it normal?

Hi,
Subcategories do not need this as it is only a possible part form the Category output. But in our documentation should you find more detailed information about this an other questions about the layouts.

Yes that is normal.  It uses the Catergory Layout header, the Downloads layout subheader and the Category layout footer.
There is some discussion about just having a single set of headers, subheaders and footersA lot of this is historical but presently with regard to we are uing 'If it is not broken do not change it'!!There is certainly a case for having a singe set of Headers and footers.  As far as I can recall all the headers and all the footers are actually the same as one would want the same 'style''
