It would be nice if the content plugin would allow for alias. For example, in addition to {jd_file file==25} it could also be something like {jd_file file==decorative-products}. The reason is that I have a whole list of items on many pages and in the backend the listings are just numbers and I do not remember which is which. I have to go to the frontend to find the position of the item in the list and match it with the list in the backend in order to change or rearrange the items.
I love JDownloads, this suggestion would just make things a little easier. Thank you for your consideration.

currently it is already possible to add extra text in the tag as editor info for example:
{jd_file file==25 decorative-products}
This way the links is not depending on the alias.

The 'extra text' was not in the documentation - but it is now!!! Use with care as it is still not officially supported.
