Title: bootstrap compatibility
Post by: pastoweb on 18.06.2019 21:29:14

My two cents for a better bootstrap compatibility

I agree the templating system in jdownloads is great, but most of templates nowadays rely on bootstrap and having native bootstrap styles and html stryucture would definetely make a great difference

Just imagine: I install jdownloads and it automatically gests the styles and colours of my template...then I can change the layout structure through the templating system.

Also, the interface out-of-the-box looks a little obsolete: a more modern look and feel, with new icons, and resposive layouts would make a great difference

Hi
Presently we are working on a new major release of jDownloads. Amongst other things  the layouts include the possibility of using bootstrap.css and w3c.css.Also the look and feel is like the latest releases of Joomla!
So think we agree you comments :) ColinPS we will be looking for beta testers
