Title: Show empty categories message? - only when needed
Post by: shoulders on 19.01.2018 10:30:04
issue
I would like to use this message when I have a category with nothing in it, however because I use sub-categories it get shown in the parent.

When this feature is enabled, all of the following categories have the message empty category message. I do not want the parent folder to have the message because it will never have any files in it and the message here can confuse users.

BMW
BMW/Onboard OBD Computer
BMW/Other Files

Solution
There might be a better way to do this. Add a futher option to Show empty categories? to give
Yes
No
Do Not Display if there are sub-categories

Thanks

Hi
Thanks for pointing out. One way is to change the implicit defininition of an empty category. For example a category could be said to be empty if it has no subcats and no Downloads.
