I am getting a file that is automatically added to the system, and i have no idea how this is happening.

Set Download Monitoring to No That will stop jD scanning your jdownloads directory, and sub folders, for new files and folders each time you visit the jD Control Panel.
Do you know what is causing a file to be added?>
