Hi, I need to keep my downloads public and not to require registration, but at the same time, I would like the user to input some fields (Name, Email, Company Name). How is that possible?

this is currently not possible. Maybe with an additional other extension which add this possibility.
In the next jD series 3.7 will this be a new option. But it is still in work.
