Title: Frontend publish/unpublish [Solved]
Post by: bici000 on 02.06.2017 11:48:40
Hello everyone.
I'm new to forum as well as setting jdownloads.

I have found answers to a lot of questions on this forum.

I create a small site for the community.
My idea was that registered users can publish some files, so that all visitors can download them. Files are PDF and DOC (docx) type.

I use Joomla 3.7.2 and iDownloads 3.2.51.

All of these users are frontend.

Now the problem is when these users want to hide that document, then they must call me to unpublish it or publish it. Sometimes it is necessary immediately, and I'm not available at that time. And I do not want them to be able to delete the document.

Those are the two modifications that have not solved.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi
In the Create/Edit Download form in the Publishing Tab there is a field called Status.  This allows setting the Download as Published or UnPublished.  In order for this field to show you need to 'tick' the Published field in the Group Creation/Editing tab of the relevant User Groups Settings.  Note this is different from the 'Publish new Downloads' field.

Thanks a lot
I do not know how I didn't see this ... and I reviewed all options a couple of times.

I will immediately wipe out the code I added.

Thanks again.
