Title: Control what users see based on access level
Post by: cmessimer on 24.05.2017 20:17:26
I am using JDownloads to create a fairly complex downloads section with a multi-tiered folder structure, almost 1000 downloads and two access levels. I have all of my downloads uploaded and all of my categories and downloads set to the appropriate access level. When I login as the access level that is meant to be more limited, I can still see the categories and downloads that I do not have permission to download. Is there any way to make it so that items you do not have access to do not show up at all?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,
I think you should read the examples in the jDownloads documentation about permissions and access levels.
See the link above.

Hi Arno,

Thank you for the advice. I had read through this document already. Realized that I had my global viewing access levels set a little funny. Thanks for your help and sorry for the stupid question.
