Title: Html in short description
Post by: Miek on 26.10.2016 15:59:06
Hi,

I have activated the editor for my users in the frontend. I also have a menu item for one category so all the files are listed. I'm using the short description, but this doesn't show the formatted text, just plain text. Is it not possible to use formatted text in short description or is it my template / editor stripping the html?

Found it...

Within the Joomla rights section there is an option to block html for registered users. At any time a while ago I must have thought that to be a good idea :'(

So many places to control, I sometimes lose track.

Ready now to go live!

Thank you for your help!

Hi
And one learns something new everyday - I did not know that particular 'block'. Think it is the default for Joomla! as it was also 'No HTML' for Registered on a new test site I made a couple of weeks ago.  I must rember to add it into the relevant article!
