Hi there,
I try to change the layout of a download by activating one of the standard download layouts, namely ID 11 (Dateien Layout mit nur einem Link, problably "file download only showing link", but although it is activated, the whole thing is not displayed at the frontend.
Other layout IDs cannot be displayed neither.
I do not want the items file, date, number of downloads, and the "new" button to be displayed, but only the file name plus eventually the file size.
Can you help?
What else do I have to do other than activate the layout?
I have each the latest Joomla and jdownloader Versions.
Hi
I am sure I can help. Could you please send by PM (click on squarish box under my name) super admin details to find problem. Will also do you a special layout when sorted.
Colin
Hi Colin,
thanks for your quick reply.
I am not allowed to give login credentials away. ;)
OK maybe you cold PM me the site address as I can sometimes see things that way, particularly what code is being generated and the css.
Also in v46 you can export the laouts into xml files so you could export the ones giving trouble and pack in a zip to send

Hi Colin,
Thank you! The site is the following: https://www.simply-it-service.de/it-service-simply-communicate-unternehmen/simply-charity/weihnachten-im-schuhkarton-2016.html
Actually I do not need a personalized layout, the one line standard layout would do.
I´ve gone again through all adjustments but couldn´t see what I did wrong.

I had a look. Is it the link Downloads near top right. The links on the resultant page do not look like jD?
Have you published somewhere, even if hidden, a List All Categories menu item?
Are you just putting the links in a article? If so http://www.jdownloads.com/index.php/downloads/category/10-layouts-library.html might help.
Colin
Did you scoll down to the end?
As the one line layout didn´t work, I put a collection of downloads at the end of that page to which I referred to via an anchor. Thus the download links at the content refer to the download section where several links are listed.
Try this one: https://www.simply-it-service.de/it-service-simply-communicate-unternehmen/simply-charity/weihnachten-im-schuhkarton-2016.html#Downloads
Looks awful. Only one line for each download would be fine, bus as I said, although the one line layout is ticked in the settings section in the backend, it wouldn´t show at the frontend.
Hi
But you are showing them in an article with the Content plugin! So to set the default layout go to jD Configuration - Plugins and you can set it there.
And whoops I gave you the wrong link!! Apologies for that but I was doing many things. The right one is
http://www.jdownloads.net/documentations/item/using-the-content-plugin-in-articles
The layouts suitable for a general listing are not always good for use in articles.
