I am having problems with showing the preview screenshots images for auto monitoring.
I prefer not to manually upload/add individual screenshots for each image.
Status: GD Library is present.
jDownloads 3.2.45
Remake all thumbnails again using above sizes? When I choose yes and save, the field goes back to no. I don't see any images thumbnails in the images/jdownloads/screenshots folder either.

Any suggestions for the layout attached?

Hi,
your Joomla or Template installation seems not to be complete.
Example:
https://www.jones-massey.com/QuoteRemake all thumbnails again using above sizes? When I choose yes and save, the field goes back to no. I don't see any images thumbnails in the images/jdownloads/screenshots folder either.
Thumbnails are only new created for already existent images. But i will check this.
Quotethe field goes back to no
This is correct.
Hi
Have been unable to look at your site as the link gives a 403 error
QuoteI prefer not to manually upload/add individual screenshots for each image.
Could you advise where you are putting the required screenshot image when you use auto monitoring
jD will only make a preview image automatically when the uploaded file is a png, jpg or gif file, and also from the first page of a pdf files if ImageMagick is present
.
What file types are you uploading for auto monitoring?
QuoteRemake all thumbnails again using above sizes? When I choose yes and save, the field goes back to no.
Yes this is the action. jD remakes the images when you Save and then resets the field to No. This is to avoid the images being remade every time you save the Configuration.
The layout file you attached is the Standard Files Layout v3.2 so is OK. It will show a preview screenshot image.

PS have just seen Arno has also answered
The link should work fine now. I removed Geo Location blocking for access outside of North America.

I have not changed any default settings for JDownloads. The screenshots were always auto added with each download without me doing anything. I have no idea when this changed or what version because I had not visited image folders in quite some time.
I see the same issue on other domains Example https://www.kidsactivitydownloads.com/index.php/public-downloads/category/149-images
Please check the settings from the screenshot below. You need this settings (only the sizes are irrelevant).
Please note that jDownloads never changed settings self.
I have tested this settings and they worked as expected.
Copy all missing images via FTP to the images/jdownloads/screenshots/ folder and use then the resize option from the configuration. Afterwards should exist also the thumbnails.
But you should first create a backup from the screenshots folder and also from the jDownloads data (use the jDownloads tools page to create a backup from the DB).
