I really love jDownloads. I am using it on a website for vulunteers that support our local open air bath. We provide a lot of photos, marketing files, etc... But, most of the users aren't familiar with computers. Keep a long story short: Is it possible to drastically simplify the upload dialogue?? All we need (aside the databases needs ;):
- Filename
- Category
- Short Description
- Preview picture
. (How) can I reduce the upload mask to minimum? Thank you! :-)

yes this is possible. Go in the backend to the jDownloads control panel and click then on the User Groups settings.
Click then on the user group which you want to change. See pics.
You can for every user group define different data fields for the form. ;)
