I have a Problem with reCaptchas in jDownloads. When a user tries to download a file the reCaptcha is shown. After clicking in the box "ich bin kein Roboter" (in Englich "I am no roboter") the captcha appears and is asking to choose all Pictures that meets certain criterias! After selecting all Pictures reCaptcha says that everything is fine and I am able to click on the button "Fortfahren" (in English "continue"). But then the download is not being started and instead the reCaptcha process starts from the beginning.
So there is a Loop and there is no Chance to download a file! What is going wrong here? I am using Joomla 3.5.1 and jDownloads 3.2.44.

This is actually a Joomla 3.5.1 problem, not a jD one. The Joomla! people say it has to wait until Joomla 3.6 is released. Fortunately there is a fix. It mainly affects the Edge and IE browsers, Fierfox and Chrome seem to have no problem.

The fix is changing the order of two lines in the reCaptcha code. You can either directly edit your site or set up an override.

first of all thank you for your answer. But I think that my Problem is a different one. The thing is that the problem occurs with Firefox 47.0 and the second thing is that I updated one of my test sites in the meantime to Joomla 3.6 (RC 1). And the Problem is still there!
It seems as reCaptcha is not able to recognise the captcha to be solved. And the fix in Joomla 3.6 is mainly for IE 11 and that the reCaptcha is not shown at all. in my case the reCaptach is shown and I am able to go through the whole process but the download never starts. I run into a loop of captchas.
On IE 11 the reCaptcha is still not shown! After clicking in the box "I am no Robot" nothing else happens. The captcha itself is not shown.

Yes it does seem you have a separate problem :(
I have just tried with Firefox 47.0 and all was well - I had applied the patch on Joomla! 3.5.1
So in order to help I would need super admin access to your site, and location of which Download to use. If you would like me to look the send me a PM ('squarish' white box near my name)
