Hi
No, jDownloads relies on Joomla! services, menu structures, framework, and so on.  It is possible to configure a minimal Joomla! site.

Could you perhaps let us know why you are asking?

Good afternoon,
I'm working on a simple, already have some customers using their tool and it is great.
And every time I have to install joomla, and you will get overwhelmed. So I asked if it worked without the joomla.

Hi
You could make a really cut down versioon of Joomla1
!, create as backup with say Akeeba, and the use that as your base load.
