Print Page - Short date format using the plugin

Using the plugin to display downloads/categories there's no obvious way to set the Date Format to 'Short'.

I've tried setting it using the Joomla menu entry but that doesn't change it either. I know how to change it in the plugin code directly, but I don't want to change the original files. Is this a bug? If it isn't, it would make a nice feature request. Does anyone have the same problem?

Hi,
please copy the unzipped file below to: joomla_root/components/com_jdownloads/helpers and overwrite the original file. This should solve your problem. ;)

I haven't had the time to test it yet. I will get back to you with the results.
