Is there a way to show 1 download in several different categories?
(Assign multiple categories to a download)
Example: I have a download "General Terms and Conditions". I would like to display this download in Cat. "Prod. A" and in Cat. "Prod. B".
I know, I could manually include the file to both listnings by {}-adding the file to the article.
But it would be much easier, if several categories could be assigned to a download.
Why easier? Because, when adding a file, i would not have to touch all the articles. I just define "show it in cat. A, B, F,...

It is quite possible to have the same file in more than one Download without having to have two copies. But it is not quite as simple as you have suggested, mainly because the facility was implemented long, long ago!
Basically you still have to create another Download and assign to the relevant category. In the Files section rather than uploading you will see the option "Select a file from other Download" with a Select/Change option. Clicking on the Select will bring up a list of all Downloads, which you can filter by category.
