Hi
Just for clarity I should explain that a jD Download cosists of two principle parts
- the actual file to be downloaded which are held in a regular directory and file structure
- the various associated information which is largely held in the database
So I think your question is that you want to have the files stored at some other web loaction. That this might happen to be a sub domain is not significant.
Hence you want the file to be stored on a remote site. You have to upload the file to the remote site youself using say ftp or the remote site's cpanel or equivalent.
In the External file field you nneed to put the full location of the file eg http://www.othersite.com/somedir/asubdir/filename.type
Say No to the next question.
