Hello,

I try to have a complete list of files.
But when I choose the Category, on my website this display the subcategories too.
My question is how to have a list of files based on a category but without displaying the subcategories of these files ?

You can see below an exemple of my jD tree :

Category 1

--Subcategory 1
-----File A

--Subcategory 2
-----File B

--Subcategory 3
-----File C

So, in a specific menu, I want to display all the files of the Category 1 (File A, B, C) without displaying the subcategories tree (1, 2, 3).

It is possible ?

Hi
Yes this is possible. The sub categories are shown by the active Categories Layout

So first make a copy of your Active Categories layout - I use "Standard Categories Layout v2.5"
So if you open it and do a Save As Copy you will get "Standard Categories Layout v2.5 (2)"
Now remove everything from the main section but leave header, subheader and footer alone
Save it and make it the Active Categories layout

I tried your solution, but my files that belong to the sub-categories are not displayed, it's blank.

I checked further and yes there are 'unintended consequences' with my suggestion!! :(
So I will look in a bit more depth.
