I want to logged user could set a password while file uploading. I have marked in backend the "password" option in user group settings and in additional data should be such field visible but it isn't. Probably I should mark one or two more options but I don't which one.
Hi
Presume you have read the documentation on http://www.jdownloads.net/documentations/item/which-user-group-is-used?category_id=29
In your setup I assume you have created a User Group for uploaders with Registered as its Parent. In the uploaders UG did you set the Ranking Value (it is near the top left) to a sufficiently high value such as 123 ?
If that does not solve problem please describe your setup of user groups. Please remember that Joomla! uses an inclusive group membership scheme, that is if you set up a UG the members of that UG are also members of the parent UG, the grand parent UG and so on all the way down to Public.

For some reason there were no rankings values in UG settings. I have added them manually. I have not created any special group for uploading but I've changed settings for Registered and so on. High ranking value doesn't work. I'm sure that 'password' field is marked in settings but in uploading form on the site still there is no such field.
Hi
jD sets up default ranking values for the standard groups such as Public, Registered and so on.
If you did not find any then there is something wrong, possibly with the installation! ::)
Is yours a new installation or have you migrated from jD 1.9 series?
Perhaps it would help if you could send me super user details via a Private Message (click on white square with tail below my name) then I could check out.
Colin
It was new installation. What details about super user do you need? If login and password then I must warn you that my site exists only on my computer for now. It isn't quite ready.
Hi
Are you using Xampp or Wamp?
Something is not quite right so I would suggest that you you completely uninstall jD but make copy of any files and images
see http://www.jdownloads.net/documentations/item/how-to-uninstall-all-of-jdownloads.
You need to do an Upload and Install type installation, do not do Install from Folder or Install from URL

Hm... seems for me to be a bug. ::)
I will try to fix it tomorrow and post then here a fix.
Edit:
Yes it was a bug! Sorry!
Please copy the unzipped file below to: /components/com_jdownloads/views/form/tmpl/

Now it works fine. Thanks!
