Title: Menu get lost
Post by: dollman on 19.08.2015 07:50:06
Good Morning,

by clicking the "Weiterlesen..." in the green field of the JDownloads-Content-Plugin {jd_file file==000}:
http://new.delta-software.com/unser-angebot_de/produkte/amelio-modernization-platform.html

The Modules (menu on the left for example) get lost - what can I do?

Thank you all

Hi
Just been looking at this when I think you were making changes - saw initial problem, then got 404, tracked page from home and saw you had changed download icon. Page now seems to work.

Please advise what weas problem as it will help others.

Thanks

Colin

Hi!

The Problem still appears, wenn I am on e.g. this site:
http://new.delta-software.com/unser-angebot_de/produkte/amelio-modernization-platform.html
and ich click "weiterlesen..." in the green box (which is the JDownloads Content Plugin) then the Menu on the left is hidden. I don't know why.

Another second Problem is: When I use the dropdown-menu from this site:
http://new.delta-software.com/component/jdownloads/download/13-amelio-modernization-platform/66-amelio-modernization-platform-produktbeschreibung.html
some categories run into a 404-error. what happens there?

Many many thanx!

Hi
I think you have a multi-language problem.  If I stay in the German language it appears to work much better.
Noticed that some menus the menu items were not in same order on all languages.

Please see attached pics where I have added notes.  The first two are on first 'challenge' and the other four illustrate the second one.

Regrettably I have no practical experience with multi language sites. It seems to me you may be missing allocating modules to all the language pages, and that in some cases there are missing pages for some languages.

I will ask Arno to look as he may be able to assist further.

Hi!

Thanks for your reply.
I see at you screenshots that you navigate on the old (J2.5) and the new (J3.4) website. If you get a 404 you will forwared to the old (live) webpage wich used Joomfish for multi-language, that worked fine. But with the multi-language on the new site with J3.4 there are some problem with jdownloads. If you see 3 Flags in the top of the Page you are at the live/od page. If you see 2 flaggs at the top you are on the correct new verion of our website. And tehre arethe navigation problems with english / german. Please forget france version at first ;)

Thank You!

Hi
I did not know I was navigating between 2 sites ::)   I just clicked on the links so maybe you have some old links in the new site that are confusing the issue.  I am not yet convinced this is a jDownloads problem but as I said I am not familiar with multi-language set up so jD could be part of problem.

Hi,
