How do I make files from 2 Categories (or category & sub-category) appear on the same "File List" Page?
And... How do I make the same file appear in 2 categories?

jD basically groups downloads from a single category or sub category. But we can create a new download using the same actual download that exists in a separate sub cat.
For Example I have a sub cat called topcat-sub1b which has two Downloads as shown in pic mult01.png
Then I created a new Download called 'more afternoon tea' using a file in another category as indicated in mult02.png
The result is in pic mult03.png. Would also need to reproduce the description and any pics etc into the new download.
So its possible but not so 'fluid' as you might seek
