Title: When we will get jDownloads Last Downloaded Files Module?
Post by: Amicus on 31.05.2015 10:13:37
I'm using jDownloads for a long time, and I was always very pleased with it.
But, now, jDownloads 3.2 is missing one very important module: jDownloads Last Downloaded Files Module.
I need to know what last downloaded files are.
When we can expect this module?

Hello.
Thank you.

I'm looking forward to see that module again.
Now I feel like I'm blind when I don't know what was downloaded.

You can also use the logs function in the backend.

Here is a pre-version from the next version which contains the required module.
It would be very useful when you could test it and post here your results.
Thanks.

Thank you.

I have downloaded and briefly tested module.
As I can see it's working.

Somethimes when I try to change module position I get error: Fatal error: Call to a member function setState() on boolean in C:\xampp\htdocs\modules\mod_jdownloads_last_downloaded_files\helper.php on line 32

I tested it first on my local web server (with my original database).

But, it's not problem. I have found right possition and module is OK.

Thank you again. ;D

I think the option "Category type" is not working properly.  Selecting 'All Categories'  give same as selecting 'Containing Category'.

Also see pic of earlier report about using specific Category when not enough Downloads and date  and/or user name output requested.

As a thought a name change from 'Last Downloaded Files Module' to 'Most Recent Downloads Module' might be better.  Most Recent is certainly more descriptive in English.
