Title: Incorrect count of subcats at top level
Post by: ColinM on 27.10.2014 20:55:53
Arno
I have a category and files layout as illustrated by pic subcat-count00.png
pic subcat-count01.png shows the top level from List All Categories  This indicate for example regcat has only one category
However when you click on it there are actually two subcats, one with no files in it, as shown in pic subcat-count02.png
pic  subcat-count03.png is another example.

This only seems to be a problem at the top level.

Hi Colin,
maybe would it be easier for me, when you make a pic from the categories list in the backend?

PS the heading Count Downloads might be better if it had a hint saying "Number of downloads in this sub category"

PPS  perhaps another change is where the backend shows for example "files=5"  as in fact it is a count of downloads.  In a test I had 4 downloads with actual files and one correctly shown as a simple download with no file ie a red symbol.  However the count of files was 5.  This is separate issue from above

Colin,
thanks for the pic. I think it is the best when i try to reconstruct your structure and check then with the debugger the problem.
But this must wait a day or two. I work on the 'inherit permissions' problem.  ;)
