Dear Arno,
How can I fully disable the renaming of files after monitoring at the backend?
Via automatic software a local folder on my computer will be synchronized every day with the FTP server.
In version 1.9, everything went fine, but after the upgrade to 3.2 it tries to rename the files and publish them.
After publishing the download works, until my sync between the local computer and the FTP folder, that one deletes the renamed file and sends the unnamed file again.
After that the whole process starts again, it publish the download again en renames again the files.
After a while I have loads of non working downloads at jDownloads.
The renaming looks to delete all . in the filenames.
Example: an uploaded file: jDownloads is a nice component made by - A. Betz.mp3
Will be after renaming by jDownloads: jDownloads is a nice component made by - A Betz.mp3
Thanks already for any quick response.
Best Regards,
SoundHunter
PS some extra info: when I disable UTF-8 it gives me an error at the monitoring page: can't rename file, and then it doesn't publish at all.
Hi,
when i understand it correctly, it is more a problem with your sync software.
QuotePS some extra info: when I disable UTF-8 it gives me an error at the monitoring page: can't rename file, and then it doesn't publish at all.
I think you use in this case the wrong characters in your filenames.
When you have a problem with additional dots in the filename, rename it.
The early sended login data works not more.
Thanks, you got a PM.
Thanks Arno for fixing this, everything works fine now.
Also thanks for fixing this in the next beta release!
