Hello,
I found two bugs in the JDownloads 4.1.0 beta component. Please review the images.
Features:
Joomla v6.0.3
PHP 8.3.30
MySQLi 10.5.29-MariaDB
JA Template & T3 Framework
I can give you the site information if you want to review it.
Hi,
thanks for the reported results.
I haven't done any tests with third-addons yet.
If I need more information, I'll get in touch.
But I suspect the cause is more likely to be found in the komento plugin.
Hi
Have just looked at the Kommento site. They only support Joomla 3 and 4 -they do not spport J5 or J6 presentlt

Hi mehmettas,
you could install the komento extension in Joomla 6?
Which Komento version?
And on the other pic:
Which com_jdownloads plugin did you want to install?
And about differences in menu view:
To be honest, I find it hard to imagine that installing a component could cause this. But I will test it and see if I can reproduce such a result.
And I don't have the general information as to whether this was an update from an older version or a new installation.
As Colin informed me, there is now a Joomla 5/6 compatible
Komento version from another provider here at
Joomla.orgBut seems to be still a little buggy. I had try it on Joomla 6.0.2:
An error has occurred. 0 Class "JHtmlSidebar" not foundJROOT\administrator\components\com_r3dcomments\src\Helper\R3dcommentsHelper.php:31
Edit:I was probably mistaken, because this extension seems to have nothing to do with the earlier Komento extension and is called:
R3D Comments
Hi Arno,
The issue is resolved by uninstalling JDownloads v4.1.0 using the options below and reinstalling JDownloads v4.1.0 Beta. (Menu display issue)
Delete all Images: No
Delete all Files: No
Delete all DB Tables: No
If the com_jdownloads.php file in the /components/com_komento/komento_plugins folder is removed, the second issue can be resolved.
In this case, the Komento application for JDownloads becomes inactive.
NOTE:
There is a Joomla 6 compatible Komento component on the https://creative-graphics.ch/en/ website. I used this one.
Hi mehmettas,
thank you very much for this update and the link to the new(?) Komento.
I think I will have to revise the plugin for that.
