I have a question about setting up downloads.
When downloading a PDF file, I would like it to open in a new browser tab.
Unfortunately, it opens in the same window and leaves the website.
Is this not possible, or am I missing something?

sorry for the delay.
I'm not quite sure how this is organised in jDownloads. I'll have to check again. But it also depends on the user's browser settings how PDFs (or other file types) are displayed.
