Hello,
I'm trying to install JDownloads 4.0.33 on a fresh install of Joomla 4.3.4 and I'm getting the error Attempt to assign property "files_uploaddir" on null.
I successfully built another Joomla 4.3.4 site on the same laptop, without JDownloads (I test several extensions locally before uploading the real site to my server).

Maybe I did something wrong, but I don't know what to look for...

Ubuntu 22.04
PHP 8.1.2-1ubuntu2.14
Upload Max Filesize    256M
Post Max Size    256M
Memory Limit    512M
mysql 8.0.34-0ubuntu0.22.04.1

Could you please give the full error track not just the message -

It could be an in compatiblity with some other extension.

Okay, I could find it.
It was due to a missing " in the default_params.txt file.

Please try the fixed version below.
