Title: author selection does not work in jdownloads 4 - [Fixed in 4.0.35]

In the last version 3, when I selected the download authors they worked fine, now in version 4 it does not work, I hope you can resolve this error

Yes, I am using jd 4.0.32. but the selection of seeing authors only worked in jd 3, since I updated to jd 4 it never worked

By 'author selection' do you mean the  'created by' field or the 'author name' field. 
The created by field is a list of registered and above user names that is those users who are able to login in the front end. 
The Author name is a simple text name the creator types in.

The appearance or not of these 2 fields, and other fields, are controlled by the User Groups Settings.
Specifically in the second part of the 'Group Creation/Editing Settings', that is the ' which has the relevant Data Field Selection 'tick boxes.

No, it is not yet resolved, while I am working on the site, with this little problem. What happens is that before in the JD administration I did a search in the filter to see who had contributed a file and they came out organized when I used JD 3, is that my site has more than 40,000 files contributed by more than 14,000 users, my site It is dynamic and members contribute midi files every day. Arno, I hope this is fixed over time in future versions

This problem is solved in 4.0.34 on my test site!  The field concerned is the 'Created By' in the Publishing options.  So there has been a change in name - it is no longer author.  See the image attached - note I have some downloads without the Creator field set
