Title: Module last updated (sorted)
Post by: P. R. on 10.04.2023 19:41:59
Hello everyone,

I have a question about the "Last Updated" module. For a record from 2016, I changed and saved the notes. Now this download appears in the module with the current date. Since only the note was changed in terms of content, I do not want to display this data record in the updated downloads.

Can I customize the behavior of the module to use the creation date? Have I possibly overlooked a setting?

Hi
In jD4 the latest module does have an option to show the created date.

Hi,
Thanks for the feedback. Is this setting in the module? I've looked through all the settings in the module, but I can't find this setting. The only option regarding the date is to show or hide.

Hi
Apologies I looked at Latest Module not Last Updated!
The Last Updated does show the Modified Date as you said.
Modifying the Module to use the Created Date would not be very sensible as it would use created date for all of the Downloads being listed.

To achieve what you want means changing the modified date just for that Download.  To do this you would need to access the database and change the modified date for the particular Download. Are you able to do that?

Hi,
Thanks very much. I wasn't aware of that until now. I can adjust the entry at database level. This is not a problem.
