- Creating a new forder it is noto possible to add it
- Testing scannning with PHP 8.0.13 some scan.php parameters mode was deprecated
Thank you!
Hi Robertos,
thanks for your results.
- The first seems to be only a problem with the creation of the "Uncategorized" category. But this category should only be created during a new installation or when no other category exists.
- all others seems to be problems with the monitoring/scan function.
Are you testing on a server or on a local xampp installation?
And what error message level is set in Joomla?
i will check the scan.php again.
Hi Roberto,
QuoteAlfter upgrading Joomla and Jdownloads all is ok instead: warning message in control panel: cannot create category panel.
could you please tell me which language do you use in the backend?
QuoteQuoteScanning new files placed in an folder already prensent and scanned: faild to ad the file.
I cannot reproduce it here. Use you maybe filenames with special unicode characters? Did you see an error message?

I have fixed the monitoring in scan.php, Please download it
here and test it.

Also here: I cannot reproduce it. :-\
Maybe I need more details about your installation details and your used (maybe special?) settings.
Hi robertos,
excuse me but I need the requested informations from you. Otherwise this makes no sense and I will close the bug report.
Hi Arno,
I'm testing my installation, the test is upgrading an version 3.10, I'm removed all the not compatible with 4.10 before installation.
The language is set to english also i backend and frontend.
The new files and folder placed manually to scan, doesn't work anyway.
Now I'll install Jdownloads on a fresh istallation on Joomla 4.10 to chesh if the problem is the upgrading of old site.
I'm testing all on Wamps with Php 8.0.13 and also in PHP 7.4.26
Grazie!
Thanks for the information. :)
