If I add a download file it is neccessary to add a title. This is not so user friendly. Is it possible to auto fill the title ?

This is the same as when creating an article in Joomla!
We used to have an option to autofill the Title from the name of the upload - but it was withdrawn to be better compliant with the behaviour in Joomla articles.
You could perhaps make a suggestion in the jD 3.9 Suggestions.
