Print Page - Assign new file to a download

I have a download with a file assigned to it. I want to change the file.
I then can only choose from files that are already linked to a download, which it isn't.
Do I have to delete the whole download and create a new one, or is there simpler possibility?

I cannot use a file from the (unassigned) jDownloads directory?
