Title: Batch copy operations create double items? [Not always reproducable]
Post by: Arno on 13.08.2019 12:32:22
- select one or more items in the downloads list
- click on batch and mark copy
- select a target category

As result you will get always the double amount of new Downloads.

Edit:
This bug seems already to be in the 3.2.64 version.

I have tested now Joomla's butch function with articles and categories and have the same result.
When I try to copy a single item I get always two new items as result. Tested with two different installations.
Very strange.  ::)
Could you please test this also?

Arno
I have tested Article Copy in Joomla 3.9.10 but fail to get your result!!
See pics batch-copy01 and batch-copy02
With jD 3.9beta9 I just get the wrong title  See pics batch-copy03 and batch-copy04
I wondered if it was about aliases in jD?

Thanks Colin for your results. Seems to be a mystical thing.
I get this double items only on my xampp test environment. On a server installation seems to be all as expected.
So I will stop here for the moment the investigation.  :)
We have more important works. We can go back to this problem again when other users have the same results.

Arno
Good decision :)

Okay. It seems only sometimes to be a problem on my local installation (xampp).
It was never possible to reproduce it on server installations.
So I close it.
