Global download limit

Hello, i'm looking for this feature: I want my users to download a file, but i want that only 50 users can download it (for example: a pdf with a discount for a shop and only the first 50 users who log the site can download it). Is this possible?
Having this possible can we create a dynamic dowloaded file? In example generate the downloaded PDF with username and download number writte on it?

Hi

The first part of your scheme could work with existing facil;ities but would be cumbersome and require treating each user individually.  Each would need to register etc and be put in a specific user group.  So not really viable in my view.

You could investigate using  the Alpha User Points (AUP) as jDownloads integrates with that component.  And AUP deals on a per user points basis.

The second part of your scheme is not possible.
