Hi, after installing the new jDownloads Version our download links are not working anymore.
- Joomla!-Version 3.9.1
- PHP 5.6.38
- jDownloads Version 3.2.63
By clicking on the Downloadbutton comes the error message that the server is not available. Looking more closely at the download link, I noticed that the link was actually correct, except that the root directory or the server name is specified before the link. An example.
Currently: http: //midqeuft/www.miditec.de/jdownloads/
Should be:
www.miditec.de/jdownloads/
Request for quick help, as our customers need the downloads.
Thank you.
Hi,
from which version have you updated to the version 3.2.63?
Have you already checked the path in the jD configuration?
Could you go back to the old version?
Normally it is not possible to get your problem only with an jD update.
Hi,
thank you for your response.
I always keep my updates up to date, so it should have been the previous version.
The path is and has been before /midqeuft/www.miditec.de/jdownloads.
That was the first thing I tried. If I create the path without /midqeuft/, the following error message appears: Error Upload root folder not found!
I do not think so, I did not backup before. :-(
I also forwarded the problem to our hoster. Here, unfortunately, I have no feedback yet if something has been changed, or if it is an error on their side.
Okay. Maybe should you ask your hoster to restore his backup? I think he should have at minimum one.
https://www.miditec.de/de/service/login.html
Ich schicke gerne die Zugangsdaten per Nachricht.
Hi
I have used
https://www.miditec.de/de/service/downloads.html and had no trouble downloading. Are you saying that one needs to login to get to the jD Downloads?Colin
Hi ColinM,
the Downloads on https://www.miditec.de/de/service/downloads.html are not from the jDownloads component.
These are under https://www.miditec.de/de/service/login.html.
I have already written privately with Arno. It seems to be a problem of our hoster. I have reported the problem and am now waiting for an answer.
It was a poblem with the host. Thank you all.
