Both mod_jdownloads_latest and mod_jdownloads_top modules show the files to the public when they are set to super users.
The olderVersion 3.2.69 did not do this,
Also from what i saw it only does it properly on the downloads pages through j down loads.
This was a Caching problem - solved by either inhibiting Joomla Caching or by setting the Caching Option on the Advanced tab of the module to 'No caching'Colin
We will give you time but, If you cant fix this we will go back to Version 3.2.69
Hi
I have found the bug in the latest module. In your jD3.2.69 version I think you had the 'Alternate Layout' option in the Advanced tab set to Alternate. So on the update it tried to use the Alternate layout - but that layout was not updated!!! :(
Will sort that out soon but in the meantime continue with the default layout
Berst wishesColin
Did you change it to default layout for us because if you did it still showing super user files to the public.

Is it in the mod_jdownloads_top modules also?
Hi
The jDownloads Top does not have an 'Alternate Layout' in jD3.2.69 so did not cause a problem
I had not spotted/understood what you meant by "showing super user files to the public"
Do you mean that there are some Downloads that should only be visible to sayRegistered users?
Presently you have not set any Access levels or Permissions. These would have defitely been carried over from jD3.2.69
If you tell me what it is you need then I will set it up for you

I mean when the downloads are set to super users they should not be shown to the public on both modules. It worked that way in jD3.2.69 but when i updated to 3.9 it stopped doing it.

Hi any progress made? Also I wanted to modify this statement to say, " I mean when the downloads access are set to super users they should only show up for Super users and not on any of the user groups on both modules." It worked that way in jD3.2.69 but when i updated to 3.9 it stopped doing it.
Hello how is this going?
Hi,

I have tested this in jD 3.9.x and I can not confirm your described problem. So I think it has to do with wrong access settings or is the result from a not full successfully upgrade process.
Could I get backend access on your website? Please send me a PM in this case.
Hello if you guys don't think you can fix this please let us know so we can take the steps to go back to the previous version. Thank you.
Hi
This problem has been solved. It was a caching problem.
Have turned on 'No Caching' in the modules advanced tab.
Wil test again tomorrow to double check
Colin
ALL OK now
