Updating from Joomla 2.5.24 to 3.3.6, the input on on 'E-Mail Configuration for File Uploads' did not change

I does not make sense to me: I do not understand what may be wrong on 3.3.6

Okay.
You must not use
 only a new line in the text.
Example:

Er is een nieuw/gewijzigd upload-bestand geplaatst door

inzender: {name}
Bestandsnaam: {file_name}
met titel: {file_title}
Beschrijving:  {description}

I removed
's from the input; output is now what it should be!
Yet, confusion overhere; what puzzles me:

- before updating to latest jDownloads version, it all was 100% ok; I was applying
's and it worked fine; nothing was changed when updating;
- the quote you listed in one of your replies actually does list
's.
