it seems that my issue is related to allow_url_include function !

allow_url_include is On. This could allow an attacker to execute remote code, if you have PHP scripts that perform include() and require() without sanitization. We recommend this setting be Off.

what do you think ?

With 'download page do you mean the 'summary' page?

Have you this error message by every Download or only by special ones which use a file from another Download?

is your jDownloads installation untouched? I mean not modified?

Fact is that I cannot reproduce it here at the moment. So maybe a result from a special status?
So more informations could help.

Why do you think this? Please share your results with us.

Hi,
all your Downloads use only external file URLs?
What is your PHP version?
With v3.2.64 all works correct as expected?

Useful could be the complete debug result. So please activate for a short test the Joomla debug option and send me the error output part via PM.
Thanks.
