Is there a way to have the user fill out their email, send them a link to download the file?   This makes sure that only real people are downloading the files.

Not in present version but we are working on jD3.9 in which you can get the users email and other info.  We expect that release to add in new ideas.

So would be a good idea to send in a suggestion about replying with a link.  Please describe how you would see it working
