Hi guys,
  Im wanting to purchase the removal powered by link for my website but im not sure if my website is classed as NON commercial or commercial. im almost certain its non but was wanting to ask the script makers before purchasing. It is a freeware website built as a hobby for flight sim downloads.  https://wizzsim.com

I know my mind is all over the place so this might be a silly question but I do have a excuse my dog ate it  but really I have a new born so im not getting enough sleep.

thank you colin. im purchasing it now. donation well spent if you ask me cant wait for 3.9 to be released. Just wondering any news when the final release will be out. im itching to upgrade but cant while it is in beta mode which you can understand.

Hi,
Basically Arno & I are working on it.  Arno is the coding guru whilst I do a lot of testing, language, layouts and documentation plus a bit of coding!  Because of the number of extra features it is taking longer than we would like.  Also it was decided to fully support multilingual sites.  The new Joomla Fields presented a challenge in getting the old style automatically converted to new Joomla! fields.  Basically it is the number of different combinations involved.
Soon there will be a new beta 6 release which is likely to be the last beta version but...Colin

I wish I could help you out but my programming is very basic. If there is anything that I could help with just give me a shout. Great work like always and when my money situation improves I will send another donation.

metadata : instead of opening another post I dont suppose I could ask you about the metadata. I have nearly 3,900 downloads in the Jdownload script on my website and at first I started filling meta information for each download. The only problem is I have not realised that I have been putting the wrong information in the meta description and keywords.

I suppose my question is : Is it possible to delete all meta description and keywords at once without affecting downloads.

Also while im at it i would like to resize my images and I have used the Remake all thumbnails again using above sizes? option but it times out before it finishes. Which would not bother me but since doing it my thumbnails have been deleted luck has it i had a backup but I now have different size thumbnails for my downloads so is there a work around to resize my thumbnails without it timing out. Just 3900 downloads thumbnails is alot to lose. I also have some downloads that now has missing thumbnails as my backup was a couple days old so newer downloads did not have a backup at the time.

Thanks for your offer of help.   A key issue is testing. One thing is you could get a free test site via Joomla!See https://www.joomla.org/  and click on the Use Joomla! in the middle.A useful article is:

You could install the latest jD beta test  - but I expect a beta 6 version soon with some major steps.  I have written quite a bit of documentation - and doing more.  Presently just re-writing the article on Fields and Field Group in jD as I was unhappy with the first attempts!  So you could critique articles to see if they work/are understandable.

It also helps us to have separate topics so I will try to split your two by starting separate topics and let you know where they are.
