In my web i´ve got links such as:

but it generated sometimes in the log of the server:

What´s wrong? Why is happening that sometimes? I don´t understand the redirection.

I have not enough experiences with server hosting and server log files so i can not help here really.
Please contact your hoster for this.
its a problem with joomla and the sef component but only happens with some browsers and with jdownloads.
i´ve been looking and i don´t understand.
where is it processed this kind of link:
web/index.php/component/jdownloads/send/category/file?
is it processed in jdownloads? In which class/file?
is there any place where it is added "?option=com_jdownloads"? with some browsers?
As i have been looking this url are similar to:
/web/index.php?option=com_jdownloads&task=download.send&id=968&catid=93&m=0
where are processed? Is there any problem in using the friendly one or this one?

My problem is not solve. I have just reproduced the problem using my mobile phone.
If i open the pdf with google drive in my mobile it doen´t work and i´ve got redirect messages. AS you can see beow, 2 requests are created. the first would work properly. instead the second one is the one that is giving the problem and this is the case when google drive is called and it is made the eternal redirect
what is "-" in the request?

Can it be that you use an additional sef component?
The download url is created here /components/com_jdownloads/controllers.
And when the Joomla sef option is activated is used also this /components/com_jdownloads/router.php
I use not Google Drive or any else.
Nobody else has a problem like this reported. So for me seems it to be a pure server thing.
By the way, i can not test all your posted links - i have not any login data.

As far as i know i have only installed and publish the default system-sef. the other are not published. i sent a private message to arno in order to test the problem in the web.
i don´t know if arno could reproduce the error because it only happens in some cases: android + google drive as pdf viewer and in iphone but in this case i don´t know if you have to got something installed or not.

Just to check I have just downloaded a pdf from my test site on an android based phone (Samsung Galaxy S5) with Android version 6.0.1
I used google drive pdf viewer and there was no problem. Just to avoid doubt the Google drive logo that appears when it asks which viewer sould be used is like the one in the attached pic but the actual words under the logo are "Drive PDF Viewer". I was using Firefox.
Is it same logo for you?
Are you using a multi lingual site?
When I use Chrome browser it opens directly without any question and offers me the chance to save to drive.

Yesterday at around midnight I used my Android based phone and downloaded Signore, Vero Corpo without any difficulty.
The PDF 'front' was the one you described
Quotered backgroun and the letters "PDF" appears on the left corner

So basically I cannot reproduce your problem.

Could be a cookie problem? Sometimes i can read that is a problem that came from enable\disable cookie.

I patch my web and it doesn´t work. I explain what i´ve been testing:
- I put this type of link in my web:
index.php?option=com_jdownloads&task=download.send&id=940&catid=37&m=0
and i ´ve got a message with googledrive that says:
"no se puede mostrar pdf ( El formato index.php no es valido)"
- I put a file that everybody can download and it works properly but i change the file permission to "registered", problems appear.
- I patched the web to 3.6.2 from 3.4.0 and the error is there.
- i don´t know why this access are generating in my apache:

in the first request the file is got by the browser but it is generated a second request by google drive and it´s when the file is not gotten and it is generated a unended loop.

User can download a file but without using google drive.
I´ve been trying. I think it a problem with the session. the session is not manage properly by google drive. if i change the file permission to public, it works properly.
it could be? Why is it not shown another message as user has not permission to get the file?

Good research. The http: 303 error is an interesting one. It should I think have been handled by the browser. That is perhaps why I had no problems with some browser but problem with others that just did not want to know. This is not something I would expect jD to handle as effectively jD has said "over to you Mr Browser" when the Download file is located remotely.
