| 2010-07-29: Security update published today (build 771). The folder settings are changed to 0755. Nothing other. It is recommended to update to this new version. After install the update, please make sure that you change all jDownloads upload folders access rights to CHMOD 0755 with your ftp programm. jDownloads is a extensive Download Manager for the CMS Joomla! It is a free GPL Extension with many special functions! Fore more informations about this release see download details view. Important: Make sure, that you also create a menu link to the jDownloads mainsite. It is not recommendable to use only menu links to single categories. When you not observe this rule, it is possible that you has problems with multiple module views in the frontend. |

| The version 1.6 is the first stable Joomla 1.5.x native version from jDownloads.
To use the rating system, you must first add the placeholder {rating} in your activated layouts! English and german languages are included in the release. More language packages find you in the download area. It is recommended to update to the new version. When you will activate the Joomla sef option, you must also install the new module and plugin versions. You find also this in the download area. Update 2010-02-28: Today we have published the version 1.6 Stable Build 730 with a small bug fix. When you use the "Report link" function and has activated the Joomla SEF, please make a update to the new version. |
