| Here we present the first Joomla 1.5.x native version from jDownloads. For this purpose, we have the existing 1.4 source code overworked. We have also added a few new functions. Included are english and german language files. For a update to 1.5 you must have a installed version 1.4. Prior releases are not more supported. Informations about the new release can you find here. Update 2009-09-25 v1.5.0.1 Today we have fixed this posted bugs: - faulty catid in links from subcategories when you use the 4 columns layout - faulty display from control panel and configuration in IE7/8 - missing utf-8 support in install.sql added Update instructions for v1.4.x or v1.5.0 to v1.5.0.1: - will you save existing jD data, so make first a backup with the jD backup function - uninstall the old version - delete (drop) following tables with phpmyadmin: _jdownloads_config _jdownloads_files _jdownloads_cats _jdownloads_license _jdownloads_templates - install the new version, but go not to the control panel (monitoring!) - run over the joomla jD menu the restore function and restore the prior saved data. |
