Just install this sh404sef like any other Joomla plugin. Configure sh404sef as usual. Please note that the plugin is still active, even if you disable it with the plugin manager. This is a limitation of sh404sef.

Note: The author from this plugin has it also tested with jDownloads 1.8.2.

Thank you for this module. Somehow, I can't get sh404sef to work with the jDownloads Top Module and Latest Module and was wondering whether it had something to do with this.

The URL shown is something like http://xxx.com/Library?task=view.download rather than containing the name of the actual download file.
