We are proudly to publish the first stable Joomla 1.5.x native version from jDownloads.

In the version 1.6 Stable release we have added a few new functions:

• basicly PAD file support. See also www.asp-shareware.org for more information.
• a javascript star rating system
• a router.php for better Joomla sef support

• double slashes in a few frontend URLs
• little bug in the template loading function
• bug in copy download function when special characters are used in description

To use the rating system, you must first add the placeholder {rating} in your activated layouts. English and german languages are included in the release. Until today, you find also Spanish, Norwegian, Russian, Dutch and Romanian language packages for jDownloads 1.6 in the download area. We hope, that the translators for the others languages have in the next days the time to complete the translation for the new version.

It is recommended to update to the new version. When you will activate the Joomla sef option, you must also install the new module and plugin versions. You find it in the download area.
