Fatal Error happening often
« on: 17.03.2016 05:02:38 »
Frequently when I try to browse the "downloads" section in the backend, I will get this error:
Code: [Select]
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 94371840 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 93 bytes) in /libraries/joomla/database/database/mysql.php on line 712

Line 712 of mysql.php says:
Code: [Select]
return mysql_fetch_object($cursor ? $cursor : $this->cursor, $class);

This error only ever pops up when I go to the downloads section of Jdownloads, so I think the error is caused by Jdownloads, but I don't understand what the issue is.

Please help

Hi,
you should set higher the php.ini value for memory_limit (128M should be enough).
Contact your hoster for this or use information like this to do it self:
http://www.jdownloads.net/documentations/item/how-can-i-upload-bigger-files
or maybe here:
https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/increase-memory-limit/

Your problem is not a bug in jDownloads, but you have only to low server settings.

Best Regards / Gruß
